Hold onto your hats, because 'The Family Man' Season 3 has just rewritten the record books! Prime Video India has announced that the latest season of the spy-action thriller has become their most-watched series of 2025 in its very first week. That's right, it's a smash hit!
Launched on November 21st, the show's reach was truly impressive, hitting 96% of postcodes across India during its debut week. But the buzz didn't stop there. 'The Family Man' Season 3 also trended in the top five in over 35 countries, including the U.K., Canada, Australia, the U.A.E, Singapore, and Malaysia. This performance marks the strongest opening for the franchise, even surpassing the impressive numbers of the previous two seasons and any other title on the platform this year.
Creators, directors, and writers Raj & DK shared their excitement, saying that the incredible response, even after a four-year wait, proves that viewers appreciate their efforts to make the series bigger, better, and more engaging. Nikhil Madhok, the director and head of originals at Prime Video India, added that the gripping story, outstanding performances, and Raj & DK's unique style are what make the series so beloved.
This season features an all-star cast, with Manoj Bajpayee leading the charge, and newcomers Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur joining the fun. Returning favorites like Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Ashlesha Thakur, Vedant Sinha, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Gul Panag also make a comeback.
Created by Raj & DK under their D2R Films banner, Season 3 was written by the duo alongside Suman Kumar, with dialogues by Sumit Arora. Raj & DK directed alongside Suman Kumar and Tusshar Seyth, who joined as directors for this season. The series first premiered on Prime Video in 2019 and has consistently been a hit with both audiences and critics throughout its three-season run.
But here's where it gets interesting: The show's success raises the question: What is it about 'The Family Man' that resonates so deeply with viewers across different cultures and countries? Is it the relatable family dynamics, the thrilling spy missions, or the unique blend of humor and suspense?
